Olga Tkachenko was born in Kiev. Her acting career started at “Arsenal” Factory People’s Theatre under the direction of Nonna Petrakovskaya. She graduated from Kyiv-based Institute of Dramatic Art named after Karpenko-Kary (where she worked under the direction of Mihail Rudin).

After graduation she completed 2-years drama course in a theatrical studio at Kiev Operetta Theatre. Later Olga has joined Igor Kalinauskas’s Theatrical studio and that determined her future. During the work in studio Olga Tkachenko mastered unique psycho-energy technique and at the same period of time the idea of creating Duo Zikr (in which Olga constantly sing for more than 20 year) was born.

Between 1993 and 1998 Olga used to live and work in St. Petersburg, period from 1999 to 2003 she spent in Cyprus, where in 2000 ZIKR School was founded. Later she used to live in Moscow and St. Petersburg working at ZIKR School. In 2007 under her direction “Fire Voices” theatre (Duo Zikr project) started its work. In 2011 Olga recorded her solo music album “Magic River”. In 2012 she opened her own Theatrical and Musical Studio. Through that time Duo Zikr was getting more popular, Olga and Igor took part in a lot of international music festivals, recorded more than 20 albums and performed concerts around the world.

Nowadays Olga Tkachenko lives and works in Kyiv. She continues to perform in Duo Zikr, lead “Fire Voices” theatre and her own Theatrical and Musical Studio, paints and regularly gives vibe-vocal group and private lessons.
